It has come to our attention that several individuals participating in apparently fraudulent schemes have attempted to OFFER PROPERTY FOR RENT ON CRAIG’S LIST indicating that they are going to work in the mission field for an organization similar to World Mission Centre.
WORLD MISSION CENTER HAS NO EMPLOYEES OR MISSIONARIES WHO ARE RENTING THEIR PROPERTIES ON CRAIG’S LIST OR OTHER INTERNET OUTLETS. WE UNDERSTAND THAT THESE SCHEMES ARE FRAUDULENT ATTEMPTS TO HAVE PARTIES SEND DEPOSITS IN ORDER TO ACCESS THE PROPERTY. DO NOT RELY ON SUCH A REPRESENTATION. CONTACT YOUR LOCAL FBI IF SOMEONE ATTEMPTS TO RENT PROPERTY ALLEGING THAT THEY ARE LEAVING TO WORK IN THE MISSION FIELD FOR WORLD MISSION CENTER OR CENTRE.

Dear friends,
Both Lydia and I want to thank you for standing with us in prayer. It is an enormous encouragement.
I wrote my last News Bullet on the plane to India. While there I certainly enjoyed one of my favourite meals - (three times a day) - curry.
The possibilities of the Live School expanding across India are exciting. My first meeting was with two brothers who flew a long way from the North to meet me in Delhi. They come from a part of the country that had a major revival during the 50's and 60's. They reported that Christianity is still alive and well in the region. As a result of our meeting we are planning to train the first 15 Live School Facilitators in the second half of the year.
While in Delhi a dear friend from the Epi-Centre arranged for me to meet with a senior leader who lives in Delhi. He arrived from an international trip just a few days before and was leaving again on another major trip the following day. We were able to schedule a meeting at 2pm at his office. The window to meet was small but as usual the Lord's timing was amazing.
The following day, I flew to Bangalore where I had a meeting with 28 pastors. The Harvest, our home church when we are in the USA, graciously put this meeting together. I had a rare opportunity to minister together with my cousin, Paul Steyne, who also travelled to Bangalore to be a part of the meeting. Another three schools may start as a result of our time together.
The next stop after Bangalore was Chennai where I was privileged to meet with 11 senior church leaders from different denominations. Among them were a senior pastor from a Pentecostal Church that has around 35000 members, senior leaders of the Anglican Church and the President of a Seminary. What a blessing to have leaders from such varied backgrounds together in one place to discuss the possibility of training some of their own people as missionaries using the Live School. Two friends from Durban in South Africa, together with their contacts in India, arranged this meeting.
My next visit was to a Christian Media Company to discuss the possibility of translating the Live School into Hindi. I have such an urgency to get this translation going as soon as possible. There is a huge need to train as many people possible from India who can be sent by their churches to preach the Gospel millions that have not heard about the saving grace of Jesus. National Indian missionaries will travel where none of us are able to go. The translation house is ready to start as soon as we give them the go ahead. Please pray that the Lord will release the funding for this.
My last assignment was to preach at a church in Chennai on Sunday morning after which I flew back to South Africa via the bustling city of Mumbai.
I came away from India with the realization that this populous country will be impacted the most in the coming harvest. The needs are huge and the population is complex beyond understanding.
Please pray for India when the Lord brings this great country to mind. Ask the Lord to give us a dynamic team to head up and oversee the work there.
Warm greetings.
Willie & Lydia
