World Mission Centre firmly believes that God has called South Africa to be a blessing to all the nations of the world. Therefore, we as South Africans have a major responsibility towards the world in spreading the Gospel.
In answer to this call World Mission Centre (a Christian Mission organization) was established in 1989, with the purpose of awakening a deeper understanding of missions and to mobilize Christians at local level.
World Mission Centre plays the role of network facilitator by providing models of Resources, Training and Ministry for the fulfillment of a specific vision. This vision is to sound a clear call to the Body of Christ for the training, support and sending out of missionaries by local churches. Included in this vision, World Mission Centre establishes unique local church driven networks which focus on the Least and unreached People Groups in various world regions, including 22 countries in the Southern African region.
Presently World Mission Centre is headed up by nine directors: Willie and Lydia Crew, Lazarus Selahle, V Mokgotlhoa, Greame Lennox, Eddie Robinson, Deryck Stone,
J Efraaim and Eddie Gibbens.
Pastor Willie Crew and his wife Lydia are the founder directors of World Mission Centre. They have been married for 25 years and have three wonderful children who are all serving the Lord.
The operational centre of World Mission Centre is situated in a building in the center of Pretoria, South Africa and from here a dedicated staff (some full-time and others on a voluntary basis) assures that the organization functions successfully.
